| Overview |
The Principal conducts an orientation/induction session for all enrolled students to ensure that they are aware of the requirements of the institute while they are enrolled here. The orientation shall cover:
~ Guidance and support available internally and externally.
~ Institute's rules and regulations, disciplinary procedures and refund policy.
~ Student Fee Protection.
~ Procedure for complaints, grievances and appeals to the IEAA (for unresolved pastoral care grievances) / NZQA (for unresolved academic grievances in the PTE's).
~ Contact details of appropriate authorities for student welfare, accomodation requirements etc.
~ Living in New Zealand, including driving and road safety.
~ Emergency phone numbers, after hours contact info, including fire and evacuation procedures.
